The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force recommends Vitamin D supplementation for older community-dwelling adults at risk for falls

Updating its 1996 statement, the USPSTF now recommends vitamin D supplementation in addition to exercise or physical therapy in adults 65 years or older living in the community who are at risk for falls. The new Clinical Practice Guideline is now available online on the Annals of Internal Medicine website and will be available in print in the August 7 issue.  How consistently do you recommend vitamin D to your elderly patients?
