Overweight Teens Eat Less Than Normal-Weight Peers

New findings are published in the recent online issue of journal Pediatrics.  Overweight kids consume greater amount of calories than their normal-weight peers, but that is not the case with teenagers. There are many factors that can affect the weight including food consumption, activity level, genetic components, metabolism, microbiome differences and more.  What are some of your most important counseling points for overweight teenagers and their parents?
