Genetically-modified corn linked to the development of tumors in rats

A study recently published in Food and Chemical Toxicology, found a link between genetically-modified corn and the development of deadly tumors in rats. In the study, which was conducted in France for two years, rats were either fed corn previously treated for more than 90 days with Roundup (glyphosate herbicide), genetically-modified corn without exposure to Roundup, or just exposure to Roundup.  The development of tumors in these rats happened at a faster and higher rate compared to rats that were not exposed to the product.  The results of the study may lead to a European-wide ban on genetically-modified corn.  What are your thoughts related to this issue?

  1. I’m definitely interested in keeping things natural. I don’t think chemically altered substances and chemicals should be added to our foods. We just don’t have enough info to know how those genetic modifications or chemicals will affect us.

  2. There are many factors individuals snore,
but most adults begin snoring because the muscles involved in our
breathing procedure have began to deteriorate with age.
When we lay down, gravity does its factor and these muscles start off to
sag into our airway. Anytime there is such a blockage, our air is pushed via a lot
more forcefully, causing us to snore. Do away with the blockage and you get rid of that obnoxious noise.
