Berry Habit May Help Women Avoid Heart Attacks


A new study published in the journal Circulation, evaluated the effects of anthocyanins (found in blueberries and strawberries) on the heart in younger women. The study found, that women who ate more than three servings of berries weekly had a lower risk of heart attacks compared to those who ate fewer servings.
